Eating some dinner at his party at the park with his friend Jackson.

Checking out his cake.

He smashed his cake up good but did not eat any of it.  Even after I put a little frosting in his mouth he just spit it out and started smashing some more.  He is definitely not his big sister, but he had fun.  I like that he will put any rock, stick or dirt he finds on the floor in his mouth but not the one thing I put in front of him that he can eat.  That is my silly boy.

Graham was not liking the shower in the Splash pad to clean off all the cake he had on him.

My sassy little girl modeling for the picture.  She had a lot of fun at Graham's party with all the kids that were there, especially her favorite second cousin Tobi!!

Aunt Nyla outdid herself this time.  I brought her the invitations I used for Graham's first birthday and she replicated it exactly.  It was amazing and the talk of the party.  We took it to daycare the next day for Graham to share with all his new friends in his new big boy room.

I also had Nyla make us some cupcakes cause those were easier to eat since we had his party at Oak Park by the Splash pad.

This is Graham's "smash cake".  He had a lot to live up to since his sister basically ate all her cake, which was at least twice this size, all by herself.

I made a shirt for Graham for his first birthday to go with the rocketship theme.

It was a busy week for our little man.  After a day at the fair, he was dedicated to the Lord the next day at out church.  He was a little restless while we were up there but he didn't get a nap before hand so he was a little tired.

Nana and Papa were in town for Graham's first Birthday.  One year ago we were in the hospital watching the state fair parade after having Graham.  Now we are at the parade as a family.  We were there bright and early to get a good spot and finally about noon Graham finally gave in and took a little nap on Nana's shoulder.

This was the only ride Addy was big enough for last year and she remembered it right away.  You can tell from her face that she loved it again this year.  She is my little daredevil sometimes!!

Enjoying our favorite ice cream at the NDSF.  Graham is saying give me more!!

We found a quite corner of one of the commercial buildings for Graham to get out and crawl around.  After about 5 minutes, this is what his hands looked like!!!

Another example of Addy helping her daddy.  Helping may not be the right word, more of an observer or encourager but Addy considers it help!!

Enjoying the beautiful weather this last weekend.  Graham loves the water and could play in there all day.  Addy loved running through the sprinkler.

Graham is just like his sister and loves him some tacos with black beans.  This is the face you get after he is done.  Cute enough to kiss if you don't mind a little black bean on your face!!

And of course Addy needed in on the picture action.

Addy was in a 5 week dance class and this was her recital.  She really enjoyed it, especially the tumbling.  The day of the recital I think she was a bit overwhelmed with all the people there cause she didn't start dancing until they got halfway through and were twirling and then she just kept twirling until the music stopped.

Daddy's little helper.  He can't be in the bobcat without Addy wanting to go for a  ride.  Quite a change from a few years ago when she thought it was "scrary"!!
